Cheesy Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Frozen Waffle Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon Revolution Barbecue Texas Beef BBQ Rub
- 2 frozen waffles
- 2 slices 1 oz. total American cheese
- 4 slices bacon crisp-cooked and drained
Instructions
- Cook Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes, depending on the thickness of the bacon. Once the bacon is cooked to your desired crispiness, transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off excess grease. Set aside.
- Preheat Waffle: While the bacon is cooking, toast the frozen waffles according to the package instructions until they are golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
- Prepare Scrambled Eggs: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the teaspoon of butter. Once the butter is melted and begins to bubble, pour in the beaten eggs. Season the eggs with the Revolution Barbecue Texas Beef BBQ Rub. Gently scramble the eggs, stirring occasionally, until they are softly set and slightly moist. Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Place one toasted frozen waffle on a plate. Layer one slice of American cheese over the waffle. Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the cheese. Lay the cooked bacon slices on top of the eggs. Place the second slice of American cheese over the bacon. Finish with the second toasted frozen waffle on top to create a sandwich.
- Serve: Serve your cheesy bacon, egg, and cheese Frozen Waffle sandwich immediately while it’s hot and the cheese is melty. Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors and textures in every bite!
